PROJECTS
Projects are where members go deep. Small teams, real stakes, weekly syncs, and deliverables that go on your resume. Past teams have filed patents, won national competitions, and deployed products with real users.

CURRENT PROJECTS
Each project operates as a focused team with clear milestones, weekly syncs, and deliverable goals. Projects typically run for a few semesters with 3-4 major milestones. Projects are time intensive and expose members to a wide range of skills and technologies. More information can be found on our notion page.

GET INVOLVED
Join a Project
Applications open at the start of each semester. Projects are competitive (~20-30% acceptance rate) and require demonstrated ML experience or strong technical background.
Applications work in two phases:
- A general application form consisting of general information about yourself, your resume, and an ML assessment (or equivalent for non-ML roles).
- A project selection form to indicate your interest in a project. This usually releases after all new projects have been announced.
To be considered for a project, you must complete both phases. A project manager will review your application and select you for a project if they believe you to be a good fit. The project manager may have additional questions or requests before you are selected.
Lead a Project
Have an innovative idea? PM applications open before project recruitment. You'll work with our Project Advisor to scope, recruit, and execute. Please note that we expect excellence from project managers in both leadership skills and technical expertise.
